UNIMETRIX CTM

UNIMETRIX CTM is a laboratory instrument designed to compress samples and perform compression tests. Use of resistance strain gauges and height sensor enables collection of relevant data during the test. This device allows the material to be tested in terms of behaviour and reaction to compressive stress. Such a test allows to define the physical parameters of the tested specimen, such as compressive strength, yield strength, tensile strength, elastic limit and elasticity module. By analysing the data, it is possible to identify whether the material is suitable for use under certain working conditions.
